The federal Cheaper Home Batteries Program takes about 30% off an eligible battery, with the full rate on the first 14 kWh of usable capacity. The rate drops on 1 January 2027. Use our battery estimate for a figure based on your battery size.
Usually yes if you own and live in the home, the combined household taxable income of the owners is under $150,000, the property is worth under $3 million and it has not had solar installed in the last 10 years. We check this with you before quoting.
